25 Years of Service: Martin Bradfield

   Employee Awards 2025 | Posted on March 28, 2025
Martin Bradfield is one of those employees whose work results you enjoy, but who you often take for granted. He originally came to Ïã½¹ÊÓƵ from mission service in Africa and has been the manager of the Office of Transportation for the past 19 years.

Though he holds an MBA, Martin enjoys hands-on work, which he has done increasingly recently to make the Transportation budget stretch. Often you will find him in the shop area working on one of the 80 Ïã½¹ÊÓƵ vehicles; around campus maintaining roads and parking lots; or driving a bus or semitruck.

When you come to work on a wintery morning, you might take for granted that Martin and his crew were up at 3 a.m. plowing the snow so the campus roads and parking lots were ready by 8 a.m. He is more than generous in sharing his knowledge and time. While doing all of this, he somehow manages to keep the Transportation office running smoothly.

Martin is committed to the Ïã½¹ÊÓƵ mission and literally goes the extra mile. Thank you, Martin, for that extra mile every day and for giving 25 years of your career to Ïã½¹ÊÓƵ University.
