What is Duo?
Duo protects your Ïã½¹ÊÓƵ account by authenticating with multiple forms of identification:
- Something you know, such as your password.
- Something you have, like a smartphone or tablet.
Why Do I Want It?
By protecting your Ïã½¹ÊÓƵ account with Duo, you can reduce the risk of someone gaining access to your account.
If someone has access to your Ïã½¹ÊÓƵ account, they could:
- Change your financial aid / direct deposit.
- Commit identity fraud.
- Read and send your email.
- See your student health records.
How Do I Use It?
The Duo Mobile app for iOS and Android is the most popular option for authenticating with Duo. Match the three numbers from your computer to the app on your phone.
- You can also generate a passcode on your phone from the Duo Mobile app.
- Hardware tokens and U2F keys are also supported.
